What is a Speed Dating Event?

Speed dating is designed to help single's meet and interact with multiple prospective partners in a short amount of time. One sex rotates as the other sex stays seated.  After each date you mark your scorecard if you would like to see them again.  If both express interest you will get an email with their contact info. All events are dress to impress and in a relaxed social atmosphere. There are 3 age groups.  30's-40's, 40's-50's, and 60's-70's.  

How are we different?

Most Speed Dates are open to the public and anyone can sign up or go in person.  Most times they will have uneven ratios of men and women.  Ex. 12 women and 4 men.  At Alma's events you will always have an equal number of men to women.  All participants have gone through an in-person interview in Portland.  This is to ensure people are who they say they are as well as making sure they are in a healthy place for dating.
